Mutual Engagement, Shared Horizons | China–Australia Business Matching Meeting Concludes Successfully
The Oceania Business Council and the Ningxia Council for the Promotion of International Trade co-hosted a China–Australia business matching meeting at Hexa Space in Melbourne. Government and business guests, local companies and more than ten Ningxia enterprises took part in speeches, industry sharing, company presentations and networking; the two organisations signed a memorandum of understanding establishing a long-term partnership.

Oceania Business Council Delegation Visits Changning: Coffee Robots, Smart Ports and a Strategic Agreement Draw a New Blueprint for Cooperation
On 13 December, an Oceania Business Council delegation led by President Sunny Sun visited Shanghai's Changning District, touring the coffee robots of Helium Dolphin Robotics, learning about WELLOCEAN's AI port solution, and signing a strategic cooperation agreement with the Changning District Science and Technology Commission covering AI and advanced manufacturing.

Deepening Agri-Food Cooperation for a Healthy Future: Oceania Business Council and China Agricultural University Discuss a New Chapter of WaFi Platform Cooperation
On 11 December, Oceania Business Council Executive President Sunny Sun led a delegation to China Agricultural University for talks with Professor Fu Wenge, chief planner of the WaFi platform. They reached preliminary consensus on the Council joining WaFi events in March 2026, a proposed Australia (Oceania) session and Melbourne office, and an MBA delegation visiting Australia in November 2026.

On 11 December 2025, Oceania Business Council Executive President Sunny Sun met Poly Art Education Investment Co., Ltd. General Manager Chen Peng and Deputy General Manager Xie Rui at the Poly Art Museum in Beijing. The two sides agreed to jointly plan the 2026 Sydney Spring Festival Gala and to expand arts, education and youth exchange cooperation in Melbourne.

Oceania Business Council Delegation Visits Shanghai Nanhongqiao Chamber of Commerce to Explore New Space for International Cooperation
On 5 December 2025 an Oceania Business Council delegation led by Executive President Sunny Sun met the Nanhongqiao Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, which presented its positioning, membership and going-global services; Sun also met the Shanghai Inner Mongolia Chamber of Commerce on health cooperation. The two chambers said they would establish long-term exchange and reciprocal-visit mechanisms.

On 23 November 2025 the Oceania Business Council, led by President Sunny Sun, attended the 19th Growth-Stage Pharmaceutical Enterprises Development Conference in Lishui, Zhejiang, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Lishui CCPIT covering the 2026 Australia-China Health Industry Expo in Melbourne, an Oceania pavilion in Qingtian and visits to local pharmaceutical enterprises.

Melbourne Hosts Major International Gathering: Australia–China Health Products Expo, World Traditional Medicine Forum & World TCM Trade Conference Draw Global Attention
Melbourne hosted the 2025 Australia–China Health Industry Expo, the 7th World Traditional Medicine Forum and the World TCM Services Trade Conference on 26–27 October, drawing more than 500 delegates from 19 countries and regions. Co-organised by the Oceania Business & Industry Council, the two-day gathering built high-level platforms for academic exchange, trade development and industry collaboration in the global health sector.

On 8 August 2025 the Oceania Business Council held its TCM and Health Industry Promotion Meeting and mid-year reception at World Trade Centre Melbourne with more than 200 guests. Reports covered the China delegation, the Suzhou Oceania Industrial Park and the October Australia–China Health Products Expo; Bruce Atkinson was elected President and a new council was formed.

The expo will be held in Melbourne from 24 to 26 October 2025.

Australia-China Business and Commerce Association Successfully Concludes Chinese New Year Business Networking Event
The Australia-China Business and Commerce Association (ACBCA) hosted a Chinese New Year business networking event at The Cullen Hotel in Prahran on 20 February, bringing together over 50 Australian and Chinese business leaders. Chairman Sun Guozhao outlined the association's mission and 2015 plans, joined by congratulatory speeches from government and business dignitaries.
