On 8 August 2025 the Oceania Business Council held its TCM and Health Industry Promotion Meeting and mid-year reception at World Trade Centre Melbourne, attended by more than 200 guests from the Australian and Chinese communities. President Ken Smith reviewed the council's recent work, noted an opportunity for members to exhibit in Suzhou, and outlined the council's expansion to other Oceania countries, including New Zealand, Fiji, the Cook Islands, Kiribati, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
Executive President Sunny Sun reported on the delegation's visit to China, an overview of the Oceania Industrial Park in Suzhou, and preparations for the Australia–China Health Products Expo and the World Traditional Medicine Forum, to be held in Melbourne on 26–27 October 2025. The Royal Children's Hospital Foundation presented its "Fly for the Kids" project.
Former President of the Victorian Legislative Council Bruce Atkinson was elected the council's new President. A new council was formed, with certificates presented and honorary advisers appointed; the council's new office was unveiled, and the expo organising committee was announced on the same day.
