About OBAI

The Oceania Business Association Incorporated  (OBAI) is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to promoting trade and economic cooperation between Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, and China. Its members are primarily located in these regions as well as in China, with the organization's headquarters in Melbourne, Australia.

Key Objectives:

  • To promote bilateral and multilateral trade cooperation by regularly organizing business activities between Australia, Oceania, and China.

  • To offer the latest industry insights and policy updates, tailored services based on members' specific needs, and to identify business opportunities while expanding commercial service and information networks.

Current Developments

In cooperation with the Chinese government, the OBIC is progressively setting up representative offices and cooperation centers in various Chinese cities. These offices aim to offer comprehensive support to Oceania-based member enterprises as they expand into China. Simultaneously, the council provides consultancy, trade facilitation, agency services, and collaborative support to Chinese enterprises entering Australia, New Zealand, and other Oceania nations, ensuring smooth local operations.
